“Due to current Recreation.gov system limitations, this site is listed as a group site, however the maximum group size is 6 and it does not resemble a group site but rather a very small site. This site is good for morning sun. The landing is rather steep, and is a mix of sand and rocks. Due to trees down along the shoreline, the landing is not the best for swimming. Better swimming can be found at the portage landing to East Bear Lake.”
