Site Floyds Island

“You must be on the water by 10:00 AM. Individuals who arrive later than this time may be denied permission to begin their trip. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals. This island is located on the Green Trail. There is an old historic hunting cabin on the island. Some folks sleep inside the cabin and others set up tents outside. It's a great location for some short hikes and for sitting around a campfire. If you are camping on Floyds Island as a through trip, you must portage across the island. The portage is approximately 1/4 mile. Always be aware of your surroundings as there may be snakes, bears and bobcats on the island. Keep your food safe from hungry raccoons.”
