“Campsite and campground are subject to closure, from late April through July, as the lake rises. Gate to this equestrian corral loop is kept closed. There is no lake access, only access to the riding paths. The campsite pad is at the end of the access road on the left. It is recommended that you back into the site. Due to the traffic flow most campers pull in stopping just before the camping pad but not parking on it. This site can have tents up to the maximum occupancy of 8 people. 4 - two person tents, or 2- four person tents, or 1 -eight person family tents, or combination there of to equal up to eight persons. Keep tents close to campsite pad. Do not take tents off the site or spread out to areas below. The area could be wet from recent high water. Hammocks will need to use a frame. There is no tying of items to trees or other structures. Horses can be ridden on the paths only. They are not to be ridden on the paved roads in the other parts of the campground and nearby recreation areas. The old hwy 198 is an approved path for riding, biking, and hiking. There is no off -roading vehicles allowed. The paths are for horse, bike, or foot traffic only.”
