Site 01
“The campground is subject to road closure, from late April through July, as the lake rises. Backpack in only during high water. An alternative is to kayak in on the kayak trail. Start from Lemon Hill or Slick Rock Recreation Areas. Overflow parking is on Hwy 198 during high water, not in picnic area or intersection. There is a slight pull off section for the campground. Dogs must be on a 6 foot leash. Please clean up after your pet/s. This campsite has limited tent space. The following tents for up to the eight person maximum allowed on the site, 3 - two person tents, or 1- four person tent, or 1 family tent for eight persons. Do not put the tent near the trunk of the tree. The trees are on a watering system. This site uses a concrete ramp to access the campsite pad from the parking pad. The camping pad is relatively flat. The site is on the side of a hill. The pull through parking pad is not flat. The entrance has a moderate grade and the exit is a slight grade. Hammock will need a stand for use. Do not tie any items to the trees or structures. The site has a large boulder that limits the size of the tent pad area.”
