Spring Lake Campground is located in the Arkansas River Valley on the western edge of the Ozark National Forest. This area is known for its beautiful, natural scenery, sandstone bluffs, flowing steams, lakes and pristine landscapes. Open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, 82-acre Spring Lake is a favorite area for water sports such as swimming and fishing. Camping and picnicking are also popular pastimes. The beautiful hardwood forest surrounding the lake provides the backdrop for wildflowers that bloom year-round. 13 family campsite units. 19 family picnic units. Pavilions. Swimming Beach. Camping trailers are allowed, but no special facilities are available. All campsites have a picnic table, tent pad, fire ring, and lantern pole. Areas of interest include Cove Lake, Mt. Magazine State Park, Mt. Nebo State Park, Sorghum Hollow Horse Camp, Mt. Magazine Scenic Byway, Huckleberry Horse Trail, and Petit Jean River. Fees: Overnight Use: Single Site: $15 per night
