About
North Waldo is the most popular of the Waldo Lake campgrounds. There are 58 sites with fire rings and tables. The drier environment supports fewer mosquitoes, making the site more enjoyable in early summer. The campground offers a uniquely peaceful setting on the water and along remote shorelines. Campsites are situated within a fire recovery area, offering greater views of Waldo Lake and wildflowers than the more shaded Shado Bay. Recreation in the area is abundant with the lake an ideal location for water activities like sailing, canoeing, and swimming. Fees: Overnight Use: Single Site: $29 per night Double Site: $58 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per night Day Use Fee: $10 per vehicle per day
