“In addition to being an active communication site, the area is a popular dispersed recreation use area with hiking, recreational shooting, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and camping. The parking area of the lookout is accessible by car during the summer months, although the access road is rocky, a higher clearance vehicle is recommended for the drive. There is a "Lookout Parking" sign at the parking area, please park in the designated parking area and do not block access to the gate. During the winter months access is from a small pull off area along Highway 103 and travel on foot 2 miles to the lookout. The combo key box is attached to stairs of the lookout.”
