About
This campground is one of the few in Grand Mesa National Forest not located on a lake. Most of the sites are nestled in a thick grove of mature spruce. A few sites have a panoramic vista of the Grand Valley and several of the lakes below. There are 41 sites. Maximum spur length is 60 ft. The 144-acre Island Lake is located 0.1 miles east of the campground on Forest Road 116. Fees: Overnight Use: Single Site Non-Electric: $26 per night Single Site Electric: $36 per night Double Site Non-Electric: $52 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $13-23 per night Group Site: $160 per night (1-24 people), $190 per night (1-32 people)
